In 1968, Chase Manhattan, a predecessor firm, obtained its banking license in Indonesia and opened a branch in Jakarta, followed by a representative office in 1978. Since then, the firm has established an exemplary track record in providing commercial and investment banking services for the public and private sectors. Clients include blue-chip Indonesian corporates and financial institutions, many with multinational operations.
